I'm not gonna lie, this year I wanted to showcase my technical skills a little.   As a theme I decided to paint my grandkids in various ways and also included some mixed media family peices that had been calling to me.  One piece in particular came about completely by accident and I also didn't want to display it because it seemed too far out there.  But what do you know? It spoke to someone and now finds it's home in her collection.
