Ok, this is starting to feel redundant, even to me. But we have to keep it fresh, right?
I swore I wouldn't wait until summer was almost over to start creating. Haha! I did it anway!
But this year, I let going of having something to prove and created what I wanted to create.
A lot of it is still sitting there. It hasn't found the right person yet. So it's waiting.
I did stretch this year by learning a few new techniques. One is the alcohol ink on porcelain tiles and dishes. I made some nice coaster sets that were popular.
I also learned an unique furniture design technique from an online artist Rick Cheadle. I haven't created near the dreamwork he does, but I've created some damn nice stuff! And got commissioned to design a coffee table and 2 ends tables in the style!
Took a risk and decided to turn some of my older art into inspirational peices printed on metal and added a magnet to the back. Affordable, usable art. I need to sell that idea better apparently, lol.
