My little girl has been building walls since she was about 5 years old.  If I were to guess, the bricks are people bringing their own bullshit into my life, held together by a mortar of fear.  The walls are her only protection. Were, her only protection. As an adult she has other choices. As an adult she is working on changing her beliefs that cause such deep fear.

Those of you close to me will know something about my personal struggles and most of what I am posting will make sense to you.  Those of you who have only known me as an artist who draws some pretty things are going to start seeing another side.  There is a pretty deep well that has been tapped into, and some of what it is full of is dark, ugly and quite painful.  But it is time to let it out. Then hopefully the rest of what is there, the beauty and peace, will follow in it's time.
